When all the Banks Fall

Message from Menachem, Tammuz 5770
I want to speak about The Golden Calf, and tell you that its end is very close. I want to tell you that it will all collapse and there will not remain any money or any coin that anyone can call money. The whole banking world will disappear for it is all built upon complete falsehood.
Once upon a time a person was able to make a purchase with a gold coin or a silver coin or some item of value, but now we almost don't see anything like this at all, just paper notes, credit cards and checks. All of a person's wealth is registered in some computer in the bank, and even if he is a millionaire, all he has to show for it is some large house, fancy car, etc. plus all of his credit cards and some large number written on his bank statement. But one day soon it will all disappear, the computers will stop working and there won't be any paper money left. Not only this, but the person himself will undergo a big "shock", because he has a car that needs gas – but the credit cards won't work, and he has a house that needs electricity – but this will also stop working. So then how is he a millionaire, with what?
The whole world of finance will fall because Hashem wants it to fall. The people who set it up have a lot of desire for money, for power and for honor and they built up a dream world. But it is really a dream world because it only exists in your dreams. The whole banking system is one big giant falsehood, and those who are involved in it are so deep into this falsehood that they actually think it is legitimate.
These deceivers are found in all different countries, including third world countries. They have all fashioned their own currencies, whether it be the Euro, the Dollar, the Sterling, it makes no difference what they call it, they are just pieces of paper that is printed at all times when they need more money. If the insurance agencies were found to have stolen too much money from their customers – no problem, just print more money to cover the deficit. And all the heads of state, the Parliament, the Congress, the Knesset, and anywhere else you may run to, they are all a part of this great big lie.
And who suffers? The simple people, who are not part of this club.

All the money will have the value of toilet paper, and this is no joke. When all the banks fall, the shock that will accompany it will be stronger than if a nuclear bomb would drop. For what would be if a nuclear bomb drops? A person would simply die. But when a person will enter into the reality that there is simply no money, no banks, no electricity, no doctors, no medical clinics, no markets – all the things that the person felt gave his life security – he will enter into complete shock. And what will a person like this do? He can easily loose his life, for he will not know what to do, how to live, who to go to for help… for he will not think of turning to Hashem! But we have said this time and time again, that the Jews who are genuinely trying to get closer to Hashem, they will be saved G-d willing and merit to see the days of Moshiach and have eternal life.

A Letter of Encouragement to Women by Rabbanit Leah Kook

To all my precious Rebbetzins and to all the good and kosher Daughters of Israel who are publicly sanctifying the name of Hashem. Our Father in Heaven is pleased with you, and the heavenly angels take pride in you. You resemble the Kohen Gadol who wore many beautiful and holy garments for the honor of Hashem. The Kohen atoned for the sins of Israel with his holy and pure garments, so too it is in our generation; women and precious girls who are wearing clothing for the honor of Hashem such as the shawl and respectable and holy head coverings are atoning for the generation. It's worth it therefore to stay strong in spite of the bit of insult and mocking you may receive for the sake of our Father in Heaven and for the sake of our Holy Torah and for the sake of Tzniut (modesty)!

If you could only see what incredible pleasure you are bringing to the Creator of The World you would be as happy as Miriam the prophetess with her drums. Sara Shnirer who was the epitome of modesty and concealment, who was totally faithful and connected to her Father in Heaven, had stones thrown at her because of this. She was not upset; rather she turned to Hashem and said, "With these stones, I will build for Your honor the Beit Yaakov School."

So it is the same with you, you holy and precious souls who are so beloved above. You are bringing joy to all the worlds with your modesty, head coverings, shawls, and extra coverings – done for the sake of Heaven with humility and happiness. With this we will build for our Father the righteous women's gallery in the Heavenly Beit Hamikdash.

I love you all with all my soul and I pray for you all 24 hours a day. My feet are in Teveria, but my heart is in Yerushalayim the Holy City.

Your Tehillim are protecting all of Israel. Waiting every moment for the complete and final redemption, G-d willing.
Your sister, Leah Kook

Rav Ovadia Yossef on Wigs / Sheitels (with English translation)

Peah Nochrit (wigs)
This is Absolutely Forbidden!!!

There are more than 20 poskim who say that this is completely forbidden, it is absolutely forbidden to go out of the house into the public streets wearing a peah nochrit (wig). It is just as if you are going out with a completely uncovered head. Just like it is forbidden for a married woman to go out with her hair uncovered, it is equally forbidden for a married woman to go out with a wig on.
There was a great gaon, Rebbe Pinchas Horovitz, a world sized giant, Rebbe Pinchus Leibush Horovitz, he took his beit din with him and they took a Sefer Torah with them and they pronounced a cherem (a decree of excommunication) on any woman who would wear a peah nochrit (wig). Who can violate a cherem of a man as great as this?! He was a giant, a giant in Torah… To violate his cherem… Who would violate such a persons' cherem? This is in addition to the fact that there were many Gaonim who have written explicitly that wigs are forbidden.

Any Rav who is lenient regarding wigs will face judgement for it in the future!

The Gaon of Vilna writes in his sefer on the Mishnayot explicitly that wigs are forbidden.
The Gaon Yaabetz writes extensively in his sefer 'Mor Uktziah' and in his sefer 'Tshuvot Yaabetz' very explicitly that wigs are absolutely forbidden!
The Chatam Sofer writes, "After the Gaon Yaabetz has thusly said, it is certainly necessary to forbid wigs."
The Maharif Chiyut in his sefer 'Ish Chiyut' writes in one of his teshuvot (halachic responsas), "It has already been forbidden by the greatest of the world and there is no room for leniency in this matter. Only the apikorsim (heretics), the minim and apikorsim are the ones who are lenient in this matter. Everyone else is very cautious in this matter."
Rav Chaim MiSanz writes in his sefer 'Shu"t Divrei Chaim' as follows, "It is the actresses, wild and immodest women, they began with this practice. Many have learned from them, we have mixed with the goyim and learned from their ways."
To my great sorrow, I have heard of many good girls who would prefer to wear a cloth head covering, and the boys, those learning in the Yeshivot are making conditions not to date them unless they commit to only wearing a wig after marriage. What Yeshiva students are these? These are ignoramuses, fools, wicked people! They are defaming the name of Hashem. People who ask for things like this learn in a yeshiva?! What Torah are they learning? They will have to face judgement for this in the future.
The author of the sefer 'Atzei Arazim' in Even Haezer writes, "I am certain that any Rav who is lenient in the matter of wigs will have to face judgement in the future!"

Memories of a Shochet - Horror Stories from Various Slaughterhouses Across America

If you really want to get an idea of what is going on in the field of Kashrut, specifically of what really happens in the slaughterhouses, then you need to give this article a read.
Email hazakweematz@gmail.com for the full free book "Memories of a Shochet".
In it, the Holminer Rebbe who was a practicing Shochet in America for 10 years and involved in Kashrut for many more years writes a list of firsthand accounts of some of the horror stories he personally witnessed in many many slaughter houses all across America. You can only imagine if it was like that then, how much worse things are now...

Here are a few excerps to help you get a better understanding of what shechita is all about. Also available is a book the Rebbe wrote entitled "The Gate of Kashrut" with tons of valuable information on the subject of how to truly keep kosher and avoid the many pitfalls out there and thereby save your and your families souls from the blemish of eating treifot and nevelot, chelev and dam.

(From "Memories of a Shochet") In this book I bring forth incidents pertaining to the status of Schita in New York and other locations that I myself have seen and experienced personally, being a Schochet for over 10 years, witnessing first hand the situation in beef and chicken slaughter houses under the finest and strictest supervision.
In the course of 35 years (5727-5762) I have visited the many notable slaughter houses and unfortunately, have witnessed all that is written in this book.

GENTILES SLAUGHTERING TURKEYS AND TAGGING THEM KOSHER, THE OWNER IS AN
ISRAELI MURDERER. SHOCHTIM CROSSING BOUNDARIES OF OTHER SCHOCHTIM
With the Schochtim R'...... and R'........ (two well~ known Schochtim I used to work with near Vineland. There also the Schita was veryquick. But there I only served as a helper to the Schochet, so that the Schochtim were able to rest. I do not remember the exact quantity of the Schita but it was very quick. The knives were defective because they had to slaughter up to the back of the neck, and they used to cry
aloud “cut deeper, deeper”. I used to yell back that I can't slaughter any deeper because I am afraid the back of the neck will defect the knife. After touching the back of the neck you must check the knife
over 6 different ways. The experienced Schochet told me, "Don't worry about the knife. The back of the neck causes no defect. look at my own knife." I never understood how they weren't ashamed to show me such defective knives!
The son in law of Rabbi...... Was a Mashgiach and told me that one day the owner told him that because there was a big snow and the truck of turkeys did not arrive, there will be no Schita, and there is no need
for him to come to work. The Mashgiach was then in a hotel only a few miles away and being a heavy person, he was immune to the cold and never wore more than a sweater. Although the owner thought he had to arrive by car, the Mashgiach out of boredom, decided to take a walk and he walked towards the Plant. When he arrived, he was shocked to see how turkeys were being butchered and kosher tags put onto them, without a Schochet! The owner threatened him that if he reveals what he saw, someone will
shoot him. The owner himself carried a gun on him. He was a former Israeli soldier and was suspected of being an underworld criminal. The Schochet kept quiet and did not tell anyone the story; however he did
tell it to me... This was a long time after I stopped being a Schochet and where I once worked as a Schochers helper for 6-8 weeks.
One time I didn.t feel well, and I sent the Schochet R'....... to substitute for me. The supervising Schochet R'....... saw the Schochet slaughtering in back of the neck and asked him to stay on and work there instead of me. He would receive $60 a day and only have to work two days a week. This particular Schochet stayed on and a week later told me that he had my job. I asked him how he could do this and showed him the Halacha regarding crossing boundaries'. Then he presented this to the Supervisor, the Supervisor in return said, 'With me there is no such thing as crossing boundaries. I hire and fire who I please, and I prefer those that accomplish the most' (slaughter the most animals per hour). And with that I resigned from this Schita.

SLAUGHTERING OF ANIMALS AT 60 PER HOUR-SLAUGHTERING WITHOUT
FEELING-USING A DEFECTIVE KNIFE-IN OUTSIDE EXAMINATIONS THE ADHESIONS
ARE CUT- THE SCHOCHTIM ARE VERY LENIENT AND PERMIT EVERYTHING
I was at a relative who was a Schochet and although I was already experienced in Schita I said that I still knew nothing and am learning the trade. This way I was able to see and observe all that was going
on without being suspected of having too much knowledge. I had very nice knives, and my friend R'...... had also R'...... were impressed with the knives, which are actually the basis for a good Schochet. They told me that if I saw knives with defects I was not to say anything about it. There were two Schochtim - one a Hassid of Rebbe M.....and the other a Lithuanian. The Schochet who was a Hassid showed me his knife that was very smooth but in the middle had a terrible defect, but I said nothing. In short, my relative the Schochet slaughtered only 60 per hour and examined his knife after every animal. He then gave me the knife to examine and I told him I still have to learn what is called fat, in the middle of slaughtering the animals from Schita to Schita you feel fat if it is not a defect. He examined the knife and then showed it to me. Once I found a defect and I said that I felt some- thing and maybe it is just fat. He examined the knife quickly and said it was good. He continued to slaughter another 5-6 animals and gave me the knife again to examine. I told him again that I feel something, and when he examined it again he agreed that there was a defect on the knife and accordingly declared the animal treif. I told him that the first time he gave me the knife to check, I also felt the same defect and he asked me why I didn't tell him. I said I did but that I didn't quite know the difference between fat and a defect and I only said I feel something.
To tell the truth, I felt the defect very well because I was in many slaughterhouses, but I wanted to see how I would feel slaughtering 60 animals an hour alone. Is there feeling and how? The Schochet continued to Shecht without another Schochet standing by his side examining the knives.
Internal examinations are made while the animals are hung. Each examiner makes notes for himself as to what he has found and passes it on to an outside examiner that has nothing to do with the Schita. It is all done in a carefully planned manner. The examiner R'...... permitted everything that had an origin with Rabbinic authority, even when it tended towards the lenient. He removed the most difficult adhesions that even had a blood clot that every Posek would prohibit. I asked him why he is trying so hard to remove it when the animal is treif anyway. and he said that it is absolutely not so and then told me there is a technique called Bais David. that determines that in such a case it is also considered kosher. He showed me the Sefer and told me it was his job to find permits even if the majority rules against. This he declared Glatt Kasher Lemehadrin.. The work on the lung took 15 minutes. I learned from him how to remove adhesions,( He put all the pious Schochtim in his little pocket). Most of our Schochtim don't even know how to remove adhesions, they just tear them and they don't even have nails to do that. Well. that plant already burnt down and thank G-d there is one less place to cause Jews to eat Treif and vile meat.

SCHITA ON THE FEATHERS – THE SCHOCHET ADMITS THAT HE CONTINUES TO
SCHECHT EVEN AFTER FINDING A GREAT DEFECT
Unfortunately, I taught schita to a student, following the instructions of the Satmer Rebbe ZTL. The student was a difficult one and it was harder for himto learn than the knife used to schecht. Then, to my good fortune he was ordained and he started to schecht.
At....... a Schochet was absent and the manager in charge, the old Schochet R'......, took my student to shecht for him. He did not know how to schecht like the others. One time I saw how he slaughters on
top of the feathers, like that other Schochet who gives others treifus to eat..... This caused me great anguish, since he was my student and no less according to the Satmer Rebbe.... On the fourth or fifth day
that he worked there he showed the knife to the old Schochet. He found a great defect. He asked him when it happened, and the student said it happened about an hour and a half ago. Then the old Schochet yelled at
him why he waited so long if he thought something was wrong - why didn't he show it to the more experienced there...... However, inspite of all this, that entire Schita still remained kosher!

This is what our mothers used to look like...
Woe to us, look to where we have gotten?!

This flyer is part of a series on modesty that has been widely distributed all over Israel. Many of them include quotes of some of our greatest Gedolim and Tzaddikim on the subject of modesty.
More to come G-d willing.

Is The Meat You Are Eating Really Kosher?

BS"D
Find out how we are being fed Non-Kosher meat in the entire USA under our very noses, just as had occured in the city of Crakow 300 years ago.
Rav Shalom Yehuda Gross Shlit"a, the Admor of Holmin has been fighting the war on Kashrut for years trying to tell people the truth about the 'Kosher' meat that they think they are eating. Find out the real Kashrut status in the USA by reading his book "The Twin Towers Meeting - The Kashrut Status in The USA" (email hazakweematz@gmail.com for the free book)
In his writings he explains why it is almost impossible to find Kosher meat nowadays.
Please take these words very seriously, I know the Rav personally and he is one of the few true leaders left in our generation who are not afraid to speak the truth.
You can get his over 1000 sefarim written on all areas of the Torah as well as many letters he has received from many of the Gedolei Yisrael of today and of the past at his website http://www.ha-zohar.info/.
Please pass this on as well as the attached books to whomever you can. You can also get them printed out and distribute them. May the merit of the many stand for you and may all who assist in this holy work be blessed with health, happiness and ritcheous children, amen.
Below is an excerp from his book "Amalek's Partners - Why You Cannot Find Kosher Meat in the USA" (email hazakweematz@gmail.com for the free book)

THE FOUNDATION OF THE SANCTITY OF ISRAEL IS
THE OBSERVANCE OF THE LAWS OF KASHRUT

And you shall be holy men to me; nor shall you eat any flesh that is torn of beasts
in the field; you shall throw it to the dogs. (SHEMOT 22:30) Rashi comments on
this verse the following: “If you are holy and abstain yourselves from the
repugnancies of Nevelot and Terefot, behold you are Mine, and if not you are not
Mine”
May it be known that the foundation of Israel's sanctity and purity is their
painstaking observance of the laws of kashrut. We find this stated explicitly in the
Torah at the end of Parshath Shemini (Lev. 11:44)
“For I am the L-rd your G-d, and you shall sanctify yourselves and be holy,
for I am holy; and you shall not defile your souls with any creeping thing that
creeps on earth”.
Thus the Torah is very explicit, that by abstaining from forbidden foods we
sanctify ourselves, and by laxity in this field, we, G-d forbid, defile our souls.

AMALEK AND HIS PARTNERS 2
Forbidden foods dull a person's intellect, clog his heart and soul, thereby
causing him to entertain evil thoughts, leading him to apostasy and disbelief, and
eventually he will stumble upon serious transgressions.
The words of the Holy Rabbi Hillel Kolomayer Ztk’l are well known (Bet
Hillel siman 48, 9): “You should know that the sin of eating Nevelot and Terefot is
much graver than other sins…And our Sages say that the reason why young
children die, G-d forbid, is because of this sin of eating forbidden foods, therefore
pity your children and don’t destroy them, Chas ve Shalom”
It’s also known what the Zohar ha Kadosh (Parashat Shemini) writes on this
matter: That to eat forbidden foods is just as serving idols and the person is
punished forever and loses his portion in the world to come.
In matters of Kashrut the problem is more serious than with other matters
as the author of Shne Luchot ha Brit wrote that the body of the person that
stumbles upon forbidden foods changes its nature into a dirty and impure thing
indeed.

1 - Why are you writing this book?
At first look you may wonder why we are writing on the situation of the
Shechita in The United States and the world in general, aren’t there many great
Rabbonim and people fearful of Hashem in many cities and for sure the Shechita
today is better than what it could have been back in Europe, and the Shochatim
today are well versed and know the laws and have Yirat Shamaim. And if ever
there were any problems with the Shechita in past years it has already been
corrected by now so basically we should have nothing to worry about.

WARNING
We feel compelled to let everyone knows, everyone who cares for his life
and that of his household, let him be wary of the excuses many times heard on
the street when people start talking about the problems of Kashrut of meat. Some
of the excuses are:
All the problems occur in other communities or in other countries but not
here in our community.
All the problems have been already fixed.
All the Great Rabbonim are careful to check all the details.
How can it be that everybody is eating Nevelot and terefot?

AMALEK AND HIS PARTNERS 3
We must warn the public that not only is the situation not better than what it
was in Europe in the distant past but it’s many times worse with the problems
growing more severe with the passing of time.
The foundation of the laws of Kashrut is the Shechita and all other
problems when compared to those of Shechita are minimal. When the shechita is
not Kosher, we run the risk of eating Nevelot and Terefot, also we run the risk of
eating the blood of the animal and we run the risk of eating forbidden fats
(Chelev) and you surely know that the punishment for eating blood or Chelev is
Karet (Same as eating on Yom Kippur or eating Chametz on Passover and the
punishment consists on untimely death and that the soul is cut off from the world
to Come, G-d forbid).
There are many pitfalls that occur in the Shechita, and they occur even in
the Shechitot that are more careful and observant, and it’s the same whether it’s a
shechita for large animals or for fowl. Don’t fool yourself into thinking that the
Shechita from which you eat doesn’t have any problems.
As it is known the main problem today with the process of slaughtering is
the great quantities that are slaughtered. In an average day a thousand animals
and tens of thousands of fowl are slaughtered in a single place.
The owners of the Slaughterhouses are businesspeople whose sole
objective is to make profits the more the better, and this is normal for that’s why
they are in business. Problem is that speed efficiency and profits don’t go hand in
hand with Kashrut observance. To increase profits and output, you must decrease
carefulness and hence Kashrut compliance.

We know our work will not bring us any honor. And we also know that
the meat mafia will not sit idly with their arms folded. They strive to silence
anyone who dares speak about the problems of the Shechita. Dear Jews: Don’t let yourselves be fooled!!!

There’s no need to find fault on the Rabbonim who know about the
problems of Shechita yet keep silent. They do so for they worry for their lives and
the lives of their loved ones.
We beseech the L-rd, to cast our lot with those who lead the public to
righteousness, and perhaps we, too, will benefit by it. We appeal to everyone to
read this book, for we have added nothing original; it is based only of the works
of the saints of yesteryear. May their words permeate the hearts of us all. Amen

Sefardim and Ashkenazim Together at Last

BS"D
New signs have just been put up all over Jerusalem with the opinion of both the leading Sefardi and Ashkenazi Rabbis on the subject of modesty - specifically the length of womens skirts.

To make a long story short, they both say that the absolute minimum length of a skirt should be at least halfway down between the knee and the ankle. It is absolutely forbidden to wear a skirt that is shorter than this length. They also forbid the wearing of tight and stretchy skirts.

For more detailed translations of the previous posters on modesty and skirt lengths go to:

We have to realize that we are at the end folks. When the leading Rabbis of the generation have to put up signs telling women that their skirts have to go lower than the knee and shouldn't be tight and stretchy you know we have pretty much hit the bottom. You should know that it has already been said by our Tzaddikim of past generations that there would be terrible immodesty right before the Moshiach comes, and judging by the scene out on the streets, it really can't be that much longer.
See http://hazakweematz.blogspot.co.il/2012/03/whats-cooking-in-pot.html and http://hazakweematz.blogspot.co.il/2012/05/wwiii-war-on-holiness.html for what the Baal Shem Tov and The Chafetz Chaim predicted would be right before the end.

And for all you guys out there who are trying so hard to survive and hold on to some degree of holiness in this incredibly unholy world, know that the only way to survive is by guarding the eyes. If you don't see it, then you cannot desire it. I know it's not easy but remember the words of Shlomo Hamelech, "The Tzaddik falls seven times and gets back up." And Rebbe Nachman of Breslov teaches us to never despair and never give up, and that even if we have fallen to the lowest places, we can still at any and every moment call out to and find Hashem. Here is a game I made up to help me when I have to go out on the street, it's called "Don't Get Shot." Enjoy.

Have you ever played the game called "Don't get Shot?"

Here's how it works. Before going out into the street, say a small prayer asking Hashem to help you guard your eyes, so that you should not see any improper images that will filthy up and destroy your mind and heart. Then once you step outside, the game begins. You are walking through heavily guarded enemy territory where there are soldiers and snipers out to get you at every corner. You have to accomplish your mission of... (here you can insert whatever it is you need to do, go to yeshiva, go shopping, drop off the kids, etc.). Now the rules are, if you don't see the enemy, then the enemy cannot see you. But if you do look up and see the enemy, then you get shot. If it's a quick look then it is just a flesh wound, but if it is a long look with desire, you just got shot and it's game over.
Bonus level: Perfume is really poison gas that the enemy puts out to trap you. If you quickly exhale it out and cover your nose you will probably live, but if you inhale it and enjoy the smell... that's right, you just got shot!

The best part of this game is that it is just like any other game; as soon as it ends, you can just start over. Do not despair, just hit the reset button, say your prayer, restate your mission, and you are back in the game. The score is kept by how long you can go without getting shot.

I once read a story that the Baba Meir zt"l said to his attendant, that he has not seen a woman in over 40 years; he was 47 years old when he said this. I challenge anyone to try to beat that score.
G-d Bless,
Yehoshua

The History and Truth about Sheitels (wigs)

BS"D

The custom of wearing wigs in public was established and spread amongst Jewish women about 170 years ago. This was during the time of many harsh decrees against the Jews in Europe and on the heels of the growth and spreading of the "Maskilim" (enlightened) who were after the total destruction of our religious observance. They even succeeded in uprooting the law of head covering completely, so that even in the houses of G-d fearing and upright Jews in Lithuania the wives were going with their hair completely uncovered.
This is mentioned in the Aruch Hashulchan (siman 75:7)
And now let us scream out about this breach of modesty happening now in our generation due to our many sins. For many years now the daughters of Israel have broken the boundaries of modesty and have gone with their heads uncovered. And all that we have cried out regarding this matter has not helped or benefitted. And now this parasite has spread so that even married women are going with their hair revealed just like unmarried girls. Woe to us that this has happened in our days.

Also known are the words of the Gaon Rav Shlomo Kluger of blessed memory in the sefer "Bishnot Chayim"(siman 316), That in his days there was a royal decree in Russia that forbade all the married women from covering their hair. Therefore, in order to minimize the violation of modesty by them going with their hair completely uncovered, the Rabbis at that time permitted them to wear wigs which was the lesser of the two evils.
Similarly it is recorded in the sefer "Ben Ish Chai" (Year 1, Parashat Bo #12), The women in the European countries are accustomed to go always with their hair uncovered.
And in opposition to this gloomy condition that many women had completely abandoned the mitzvah of covering their hair, the Chafetz Chaim wrote an entire sefer entitled "Geder Olam" in order to challenge and try to regain control of this terrible breach in modesty.
Therefore, in order to get them to comply with hair covering at all, we were forced to permit them the wearing of wigs so that they would not be going with their hair uncovered outright. And after the decrees were cancelled, the custom of wearing wigs remained since they had grown used to it. This matter continued and worsened over time until the whole reason why the despicable and evil custom of wig wearing was permitted in the first place became completely forgotten to them, until nowadays, women who wear wigs in public think that they are acting in accordance with the strictest levels of the law of hair covering.                 Woe to us, look to where we have fallen!

Therefore, the time has come for the holy daughters of Israel to free themselves from the decrees of our cruel and wicked enemies! (From the words of Rav Binyamin Rubinovich in a letter he wrote as an approbation to the book "Dat Moshe VeYisrael")
Therefore it is a holy obligation for every Rav and teacher in Israel in whose congregation this parasite of wig wearing has spread, to learn the sugya in its entirety and to rebuke the congregation with gentleness that there is really no permissibility under Jewish law to go out with a wig looking like the women who roam the streets at night.  We must remove this plague from our houses and this evil from our midst, and return the crown to its former glory to be crowned with modesty. Women should go with a cloth head covering only as this is how our mothers used to look; and this is also in accordance with the halachic rulings of our Rabbis. May Hashem help us in this matter pertaining to the honor of His Name, and may we succeed in fencing in this breach speedily and in our days amen.

A Great and Terrible Tragedy

BS"D

These signs were recently posted up all over Jerusalem signed by some of the most prominent Sefardi Rabbis. It reads as follows:

A GREAT AND TERRIBLE TRAGEDY

To our sorrow, the matters of tzniut (modesty) in our days needs a lot of strengthening. And behold a great and terrible tragedy has now begun in the matters of tzniut; the wearing of short and tight skirts and tops, that even one who wants to avoid these types of clothing cannot easily find a store that offers any other alternatives. And what a terrible disgrace it is for a man who is charedi to have to walk around with his wife who is wearing short and tight - incredibly immodest clothing.
And to our great sorrow, many are stumbling in this matter today. And on this our Rabbis of blessed memory have said, worse is one who causes a person to sin - than one who kills, and especially worse is one who causes the many to sin (as is the case when a woman goes out in immodest clothing - YG).

As Rabbenu Yonah wrote in his Iggeret HaTeshuva:
A woman has to be modest so that no man should look upon her... And if not, she will receive a great punishment for she caused them to sin, and she was a stumbling block to them because of her lack of modesty. (Think about it women, if you are carrying around highly radioactive toxic waste, you cannot just go spilling it around wherever you like and acting careless with it - you have to be responsible and make sure to keep it safe and protected so that it will not come to harm anyone else. The same is true of your bodies - YG)
And as a result we are now witnessing terrible tragedies in Am Yisrael, both national tragedies and personal tragedies, and all this is a result of the departing of the Shechina (Divine Presence) from our midst, as the Shechina is not found in a place where there is innapropriate exposure or lewdness.

And how can we sit silently and not protest and try to put a stop to this terrible breach. Therefore it is incumbent upon all of us to search for modest clothing and only shop in a place which carries appropriate clothing.

THE LENGTH OF THE SKIRT MUST COME DOWN TO AT LEAST HALFWAY BETWEEN THE KNEE AND THE ANKLE, AND IT IS ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN TO GO WITH A SKIRT THAT IS NOT AT LEAST THIS LENGTH.

Anyone who is in a position should assist in this matter, that there should be an increase of clothing stores which sell appropriate and modest clothing, and try to influence the current shop owners to sell only modest clothing and stop causing a stumbling for the many.

Anyone who is able to assist this cause in any way (printing out and distributing or emailing this message counts too - YG) and specifically in regards to the store owners, will have the great merit of the mitzva of modesty to protect him or her and all that is theirs. One who is cautious and one who cautions others will have abundant peace like a flowing river.

Gedolei Yisrael Call For Modesty (with English translation)

There have been many signs put up all over the Mea Shearim area of Jerusalem expressing the calls from many of the Gedolei Yisrael for more modesty.

The first one which is signed by Rav Elyashiv and Rav Vosner reads as follows:

To our great sorrow, matters of modesty on which the resting of the Shechina (Divine Presence) and the holiness of Am Yisrael are dependent on have fallen greatly. Specifically in the areas of shortening the length of the clothing which is a precursor to immoral and forbidden relations.

The severity of causing others to sin is already known, as Rabbenu Yonah writes in Iggeret Hateshuva,
"A woman has to be modest and cautious to not cause others to stare at her (attracting attention to herself) etc. And those who stare at her will descend down to Gehenom and in addition she will receive the same exact punishment as each and every single one of them for it was she who caused them to sin by not being modestly dressed, and she was a stumbling block to them."

We have already made our opinion known that the length of a skirt must come down to at least halfway between the knee and the ankle.
They then go on to say that it is very important now more than ever to spread this information and even set up learning groups where the laws and attitudes of modesty are learned.

The second sign is pretty similar in nature and the third one makes many praises to women who have taken on the original custom of the previous generations and are following the Rambams ruling that a woman should not go out into the public areas without putting on a covering (shawl) over her body.

G-d willing with the increase of modesty we will be saved from all types of terrible tragedies in Am Yisrael and we will cause a greater dwelling of the Divine Presence amongst us.
(end of translation)

Think about it ladies, when you wear those tight and stretchy skirts and tops, do you not realize that the whole world can clearly see the shape of your behind and chest!?
Are you not ashamed to walk down the street with your behind showing!?
Have we lost all our human dignity!?

Rav Shalom Arush recently said in one of his lessons that when there is no modesty there is no shmira (protection from Hashem). Many wonder why there are so many terrible things lo aleinu going on in our streets and in our neighborhoods. Well I think we have our answer. When we abandon holiness, than G-d leaves us out of His protection.
May we all merit to strengthen ourselves in modesty and holiness and may all the holy women who decide to take on more modesty be blessed to see clear and open miracles in her and her families lives.

It is a big mitzva to pass this information on to others. All those who bring merit to the many will be blessed with righteous children, amen.

Do Not Fear and Do Not Lose Resolve

Hashem encourages Yehoshua in the first Chapter of the Book of Yehoshua to remain firm in his trust that the Land of Israel will be inherited by the Jewish people. He tells Yehoshua to be strong and courageous and that adherence to the Torah is what will guarantee success for the conquering and settling of the land.
It is important to always remember that no matter what is going on in the world or whatever threats there may be out there, we have a promise from Hashem that if we stick to the ways of the Torah, we will succeed in all that we do and be protected from all of our enemies. It is not a new thing that there are nations out there who want to destroy us (G-d forbid), in fact, we say every year in the Haggadah of Pesach, "Rather in every generation they rise up against us to destroy us, but it is Hashem who saves us from their hand."
So with that being said, we do not have to fear and we do not have to worry about anything or anyone, for Hashem is always watching over us. He only tells us to worry about following the ways of His Torah, and He will take care of the rest. Our Rabbis and Holy Books tell us that the land of Israel is the most conducive place to observe the ways of the Torah.
Through the revelation of the kedusha of Eretz Yisrael we will witness the destruction of the wicked. Not only will we be delivered from their hand, but we will see them suffer the very evil they sought to inflict upon us (Likkutei Moharan 55:2,3).
If a man is outside Eretz Yisrael, he has a soul of lesser celestial forces. If he merits entering Eretz Yisrael, a soul from a newly created source comes to him, and clothes itself with his old soul. The first night he sleeps in Eretz Yisrael, both souls depart from him and rise to worlds above, and in the morning, only the new soul returns (Chessed LeAvraham, Maayan 3, Nahar 12).
The motive for making the journey to Eretz Yisrael should be purely spiritual: To draw closer to G-d. A person who goes there with this as his aim will surely benefit. Merely by stepping foot on the Land, he will become merged with it and transformed by its sacred character. That is why, "One who walks four cubits in Eretz Yisrael will assuredly inherit the World to Come (Ketuvot)." On the other hand, if a person's motive has nothing to do with devotion to G-d and cleansing himself of his evil, than what help will the Land be to him? The Land will vomit him out "as it vomited out the nation that was before you (Leviticus 18:28)" (Likkutei Moharan 29).
Rabbi Yaakov Emden (The Yaavetz) writes in the introduction to the siddur, Beit Yaakov, "When it seems to us in our present peaceful existence outside Eretz Yisrael, that we have found another Eretz Yisrael and Yerushalayim, this is to me, the greatest, deepest, most obvious, and direct cause of all the awesome, frightening, monstrous, unimaginable destructions that we have experienced in the diaspora."
The Shela HaKadosh writes (at the end of Massechet Sukkah) "I will disclose something that has always troubled me greatly. I have seen Jews building homes like the fortresses of princes, making for themselves permanent, this worldly dwellings in impure lands. I have observed that it is their intention to leave theses homes as an inheritance to their children after them! This appears to be (G-d forbid) an abandonment of the idea of redemption. Therefore, even if G-d gives you wealth, build simple houses, to accommodate your bare needs, and no more."
Rebbe Nachman of Breslov says in the Likkutei Moharan, "Pray to G-d to give you desire and yearning for Eretz Yisrael. Then you will succeed in reaching there."

The Clearest Sign of The End of Days

BS"D

Rabbi Abba said, "There is no clearer sign of the End of Days than this verse: But you, O mountains of Israel, will give forth your branches and yield your fruit to My people Israel, for they are soon to come (Yecheskel 36:8)." (Sanhedrin 98a)
Rashi explains, "When Eretz Yisrael gives forth its fruit in abundance the end will be near, and there is no clearer sign of the End of Days."
I recently read an article which makes a prediction based on what the Zohar says regarding a certain formation of stars as a key time of the redemption process.
Here is a link to the article for you to take a look at, also read down a few of the comments where a lot more is explained.
If you are skeptical, I actually just got off the phone with the Admor of Holmin, Rav Shalom Yehuda Gross, where I specifically verified some of the things the article mentioned. Here is a summary of our conversation.
When I asked the Rav about the 60 day period beginning with the certain star formation, he replied, "Yes, yes, it's all written in the Zohar." he then went on to tell me that Rav Kaduri zt"l had said that this year (5772) on Tisha B'Av was going to be the revelation of the Mashiach. He then began telling me that there is a very strong battle that he is involved in right now against the Erev Rav, and he said that they are getting set to make a huge amount of trouble for us right now. He said it will not be a simple situation, but he is heavily waging war with them right now.
So there you have it, I strongly suggest reading the above article including the comments (specifically the ones by Dov Bar-Leib) and you will understand much better what is to be going on in this next short period of time.
If you can get to Israel, that would be a very wise move, and if not, make sure you are praying to Hashem and reading a bit of Zohar everyday.
I also foud this article below explaining a possible False Flag biological terror attack that may be in the works for the USA.
Just watch out when they start pushing those Anthrax vaccines...
May we be worthy of receiving the Torah in holiness and purity and soon be worthy of welcoming the Mashiach, amen.

The Mitzvah to Live in Eretz Yisrael

BS"D
If anyone is looking for some good reasons to come and live in Eretz Yisrael, then read below:

"The air of Eretz Yisrael makes one wise"
(Bava Batra 158b)

"It is preferable to dwell in the deserts of Eretz Yisrael than the palaces of Chutz LaAretz"
(Bereshit Rabba 39:8)

"Fortunate is he who merits in his lifetime to fix his residence in Eretz HaKodesh"
(Zohar HaKadosh III 72b)

"And remove from your heart this false belief that a man has more blessings outside the land"
(Alshich HaKadosh, Ki Tavo 28:6)

"Living in Eretz Yisrael is the equivalent of all the Mitzvot in the Torah"
(Sifrei, Parashat Re'e, Tosefta Avoda Zara 5)

"There is no happiness, but only when Yisrael is settled in the Holy Land"
(Zohar HaKadosh, Bamidbar 118a)

"He who lives in Eretz Yisrael should be perpetually happy with this Mitzvah, and all the suffering he experiences should be insignificant to him in light of his love for this Mitzvah"
(Pele Yoetz, Eretz)

"Anyone who dwells in Eretz Yisrael, the very Land attones for him"
(Sifrei, Haazinu)

"Only in Eretz Yisrael can happiness be complete; and it is also possible to sanctify oneself with great kedusha, something that is impossible in foreign lands"
(Rabbi Elimelech MiLizensk)

"Eretz Yisrael lacks nothing"
(Brachot 36)

THE EVIL REPORT OF THE SPIES AGAINST THE LAND

They (the spies) brought back to the Children of Yisrael an evil report of the land which they had searched, saying, "The land which we investigated is a land which eats up its inhabitants."
(Bamidbar 13:32)

Rashi explains: "In every place we passed we found them burying their dead!" However, the truth was that the Holy One, Blessed be He, did this for their good, to involve them (the inhabitants of Canaan) in mourning to distract them from paying attention to the spies.

THOSE WHO BEHAVE LIKE THE SPIES PERPETUATE THEIR STAY IN IMPURE LANDS AND DO NOT GO UP TO ERETZ YISRAEL

When the ten spies went out to spy the land, the souls of the ten corresponding tribes (the actual sons of Yaakov) came into them. This is the secret of what Yosef meant when he told his brothers, "You are spies (Beresheet 42:9)," to allude that in the future their souls would enter into the spies.
(Kitvei HaAri HaKadosh, Shaar Hagilgulim, Introduction 36)

So just the same way in which the brothers opposed Yosef and they further opposed the land, in our times some Jews oppose the Mitzvah of settling in Eretz Yisrael by perpetuating their abode in impure lands, thereby becoming contaminated by the ideals of the nations where they live in. And so it is that when Jews live in foreign lands, they become contaminated with the idea that material success is the main goal in life, and thereby they refuse to go up to Eretz Yisrael for it entails the risk of a descent in respect to their luxurious dwellings and their prospects for material success.

Rebbe Shimon bar Yochai Says - I Can Save The Whole World From Judgement!

BS"D

In both lessons this past Shabbat at Chut Shel Chessed, Rav Shalom Arush spoke about the power of Rebbe Shimon Bar Yochai. He said that Lag BaOmer is a very great day and on it one can accomplish very great things if they put in the prayer. He said that this day is opportune to achieve both spiritual and physical salvations. Even if one cannot make it to Meron, the day itself is extremely holy and one can pray from any place they may be. Just light a candle and ask Hashem for all your needs in the merit of Rebbe Shimon.

He also gave over a very nice idea on how Rebbe Shimon came to his greatness. He said that the entire time that Rebbe Shimon and his son were in the cave, they were happy and accepted G-d's mishpat (judgement) with love. Similar to how Yosef HaTzadik was in prison for 12 years and also accepted it with love. Many of us have difficulties and challenges, but if we are upset about them, than it is the same as if we are saying to Hashem that we do not agree with His judgement. Instead, one should first strengthen their emuna and know it is from Hashem and good, and then one can reach very high levels specifically because of the difficulties.

The Rav also spoke about holiness, specifically guarding the eyes. He said that holiness is the main difference between us and the nations and there is no protection for the Jewish people unless we have holiness, as we learned from the stroy of Bilam. He also said that a man who guards his eyes or a woman who dresses modestly is protected personally by Hashem and has nothing to fear in this world.

Don't forget to read some Zohar, and know that the world right now is in huge need of protection from many many judgements. If you want proof just read:

Rebbe Shimon is fitting to be relied upon in a time of great need and with his sefer (The Zohar) we will be redeemed from this exile with mercy, amen.

WWIII: The War on Holiness

The Chafetz Chaim zt"l writes in his commentary on the Nach, "At the end of the exile which we are entering into right now, there will be an awesome war between the sides of Holiness and Impurity, and the side of Impurity will cast down mighty arrows… There will not remain from this war people who are completely intact with all of their limbs except for a very few. These will be the remnants of whom Hashem will call upon; these will be the true mighty ones and the true masters of the Torah… Each one according to his level and according to the amount of urging he gives to others that they should perform their duties with faith." (Taken from the sefer Vehaer Einenu)
Rav Eliyahu Lopian zt"l added the following explanation to the above words, "In any battle, when the final outcome approaches of who is to be the victor and who is to be the looser, both sides put forth their greatest effort with all the strength they have left in them. So too it is here at the end of this exile as we are approaching the deciding moments, that the side of Impurity - the evil empire knows that it is only moments away from being completely annihilated from existence. Therefore, it is emboldening itself with all of its power to dispose of Yisrael (G-d forbid) and to distance them from Hashem blessed be He." (Lev Eliyahu vol. 2 pg. 112)
It is clear from the above two quotes that the main war we will face in the end of days will be against the forces of Impurity, and that that the side of Impurity will be attacking with very mighty and powerful attacks against those few who are fighting to stay strong and connected to G-d. We only need to look outside in the street to see that the battle is well under way, and almost all the fences of holiness, purity and modesty have been destroyed.
The prophets make many references to the battle with the 70 Nations that will take place in Jerusalem in the End of Days. Based on the above, we can suggest that this is not referring to a physical war with each of the 70 nations arriving to Jerusalem with their different flags and uniforms, but perhaps it is referring to a spiritual war in which the influences of the 70 Nations will come to Jerusalem with the goal of attacking our Holiness. Let's take a look at what Rebbe Nachman has to say about the 70 Nations in Likkutei Etzot Brit #10:
The desire of niuf (immoral sexual desire) is the all inclusive evil, in which all of the evil of all of the 70 Nations are included in. For each Nation has a hold in its own specific type of evil, that is, some specific bad trait or evil desire that is unique to that Nation. However, the desire for niuf is the all inclusive evil, and in it is gathered and included each and every single evil from each and every single Nation. It contains all the bad of all the desires, and in it burns all the bad of all the desires as one large inferno. This inferno is what burns inside of a person when he feels the desire for niuf.
However Hashem has separated us from all of the Nations, and He has exalted us above all of the tongues (languages). Therefore, we must separate ourselves from all of their evil, that is, from all of their desires which have no connection to us whatsoever, specifically from the desire of niuf which is the all inclusive evil of all the Nations as mentioned above. For this is the main difference and distinguishing between us and the Nations, that we separate ourselves from niuf, for this is the main holiness of Yisrael. For it is within a persons' power to remove his thoughts from this desire and destroy it completely; and this is our main holiness.
The words of the Chafetz Chaim seem very clear now and we are certainly in a fierce battle with the 70 Nations at this very moment, specifically in the area of holiness. Furthermore, the Prophet Isaiah makes reference to this idea when he describes the survivors who will remain in the End of Days, "Of every remnant that will be in Zion and every remaining one in Jerusalem, 'Holy' will be said of him (Isaiah 4:3)." And, "There will be a path and a road there; it will be called 'The Path of Holiness,' and no impure person will traverse it… The redeemed will walk there (Isaiah 35:8-9)"
May Hashem give us all the strength to merit walking on the Path of Holiness, amen.
